Part of fun & stylish home-to-hotel group ‘The Addresses’, Casa Dois is a renovated townhouse located in the heart of Algarve’s most characterful cubist town & fishing port, salty & soulful Olhão.
An old fishery & warehouse conversion, the house was revived by architecture firm Atelier RUA, who reimagined the ruin into a spacious open plan living room kitchen along with two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All the light slants in from a row of beautifully preserved arches that give access to the ground floor patio, a small green oasis enveloped by whitewashed walls & a refreshing plunge pool surrounded by oversized cushions to lull on when escaping the midday heat. A winding outdoor staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, filled with stylish lounge seats by Ferm Living, where you can gaze over the Algarve’s protected nature reserve, the Ria Formosa, the islands beyond & flat terraced roofs while sipping sunset cocktails.

Price: Prices start from 1200€ per week from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise requested.
Sleeps: The house sleeps four people in two ensuite bedrooms
Highlights: Large arched windows mean that the kitchen, living room is filled with light & from the roof terrace guests can see far out across the cubist rooftops.

Services: While the house is self-catered, The Addresses offer full hotel service so daily turndown can be requested along with a private chef & massages, excursions & restaurant bookings.

The Neighbourhood: The house is located at the edge of the bustling Baixa district of Olhão, where recent investment has seen many crumbling houses renovated into whitewashed beauties. That being said, local life still thrums here & you’re a stone’s throw from the marina which has regular boats to the deserted islands off the Algarve’s East coast.

Casa Dois is located in the fishing town of Olhão, around a fifteen minute drive from Faro. Fly to Faro & rent a little car to take a road trip while finding some freedom while you’re there.
